Rails Edge this weekend; what's our status?

So, we’ve been heads down doing three things around here lately:
- Fixing bugs
- Rolling in your supplied patches
- Moving Streamlined to be a plugin rather than a generator
We’ve gotten a little too wrapped up in that last one, and as such, have gone dark the last couple of weeks. Pulling our heads out of our butts a little bit, we’re now going to refocus on getting 0.0.6 pushed out here ASAP. Not going to put a date on it, but we’ll be at RailsEdge this week giving a talk on Streamlined and I want to be able to at least demo 0.0.6 for everybody there, so let’s hope soon.
The biggest news for 0.0.6 will be the new look and feel, which finally has the AjaxScaffold integration. Here’s a quick peek.

Looks very nice! I recently started getting back into web development again and have been working with Django for about a month. I love its Admin interface. I’ve held off on expermineting with RoR, mainly because it didn’t have an admin functionality…that is why I am so interested in streamlined.
Perhaps you could write a blog post on exactly how your project is similar to (or different from) Django’s Admin.
Looks great! I started developing with the ajaxscaffold generator, then moved to the ajaxscaffold plugin but found it was too much work to get it to understand relationships although the look & feel was great. Moved to streamlined because it handled relationships much better, but then stopped to wait for release 0.0.6.
Great to have you back online.
Looks like super progress.
Looking forward to 6.
Getting streamlined functionality with ajax_scaffold look & feel will be awesome. Can’t wait to get my grubby fingers on it.
Much better looking than the original interface. Although you might want to checkout the famfamfam icons for widgets instead of the current ones.
