Tickets and Mailing Lists

We’ve just gone through and caught up completely on the mailing list and the tickets in Collaboa. Some of you will have received personal emails about your tickets, in addition to us filing our responses in Collaboa itself. Others of you have probably received emails from the Google Group.
If you are interested in the tickets, we’ve categorized all the open ones by what release we plan to address it in. There’s a lot there for 0.0.6, and we’re planning out ahead to 0.1.0.
I’m personally off to RubyConf this Friday and will be giving the Streamlined talk on Sunday morning. Now that I understand the schedule, I feel much better about my talk there. I thought I was going to have to fill three hours, but was recently reminded that its a shared track format; just one hour for me. So, no worries, folks, I won’t be cramming three hours of material into 60 minutes. Though I’ll still talk too fast; that’s just how I roll.

Unless I’m reading the schedule incorrectly or there has been a change, your talk is scheduled during the 3 hour long Session 5 on Sunday. However, you are sharing this session with 2 other presenters (Koichi SASADA with “YARV: on Rails?” and John Lam with “You got your Ruby in my CLR!”). Has something changed?
I do look forward to your presentation, but I’d hate for you schedule 3 hours of material only to have to try to squeeze it into ~1 hour. I enjoyed your presentation at RailsConf in Chicago, but you did seem a bit pressed for time.
Heh—right you are. Whew! I have plenty of material, but that just seemed like way too long. That’ll teach me to read the schedule bettter.
Hello, 1) when I try to put the generated controllers into a folder named “admin”, problems happened. My solution was add @model_name = @model_name.sub(/.*::/,’‘)
Into
Def initialize of streamlined_controller.rb 2) when I use “rake freeze_edge”, then the live search didn’t work. It seems that on ini.rb, require ‘streamlined_controller’ require ‘streamlined_ui’ broken.
Kind regards,
